General
Credit Consultant is India's premier credit advisory and financial turnaround firm. We help individuals and businesses fix inaccurate credit report entries, negotiate debt settlements with banks, resolve reporting disputes, improve CIBIL/Equifax/Experian/CRIF scores by 100–200 points, and secure the lowest interest rates for home, personal, and business loans.
Yes, 100% legal. Under the Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act, 2005 (CICRA), every Indian citizen and enterprise has the statutory legal right to dispute and rectify erroneous, outdated, duplicate, or fraudulent reporting on their credit profiles with all 4 RBI-licensed bureaus (CIBIL, Equifax, Experian, CRIF High Mark).
Initial bureau corrections and error rectifications typically reflect within 30 to 45 business days. Significant score increases of 100–180 points for complex profiles involving written-off accounts, settlements, or overdue suits generally complete within 3 to 6 months.
CIBIL & Credit Score
A score of 750 and above is considered excellent by all top Indian banks (SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis). Scores between 700–749 are good but may attract marginally higher interest spreads. Scores below 650 lead to outright loan rejections or exorbitant interest rates from unorganized lenders.
No! Checking your credit score through Credit Consultant is categorized as a "Soft Inquiry". Soft inquiries do NOT impact or lower your credit score. Only formal loan/credit card applications submitted to banks count as "Hard Inquiries" which temporarily drop your score.
A "Settled" status indicates you paid less than the full outstanding amount, which severely harms your creditworthiness for up to 7 years. Our team negotiates with the nodal officers of the lending bank to pay the waiver differential and obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and "Closed" status update with TransUnion CIBIL.
Commercial Credit
A CIBIL Rank (CMR - Company Credit Report) ranges from CMR 1 to CMR 10 for commercial enterprises. A rank of CMR 1 to CMR 3 indicates lowest risk and highest likelihood of credit approval, while CMR 8 to CMR 10 represents high default risk where banks withhold credit lines.
Yes. We conduct an audit of your Company Credit Report (CCR), identify reporting discrepancies, correct GST/overdraft overdue tags, negotiate structured rehabilitation with lenders, and help you transition toward a CMR 1–3 score to qualify for CGTMSE-backed credit.
Loans & Mortgages
Directly approaching top PSU banks with a score under 650 results in rejection, creating negative hard inquiry marks. We first enroll you into an accelerated 60-day score revival program to elevate your score above 700, then submit your file through our direct partner banking channel for lowest interest rates.
A home loan balance transfer allows you to move your existing outstanding loan from your current high-interest lender to a new bank offering lower rates. By improving your CIBIL score to 750+, you can lower your interest rate by 1.0% to 1.75%, saving ₹5 Lakh to ₹25 Lakhs over your total loan tenure.
